Lifehacker has a good article on reading well. I think it makes some good points on making time in your day to read. I wicked disappointed that the author didn't talk about the library. You don't even need to purchase a book and often times people don't have the room to keep purchased books.

According to the Gulf News if you eat or drink in public in is considered a crime and you can be fined a maximum of 2000 dhs or spend time in jail. Apparently the UAE government does not mess around when it comes to Ramadan. According to the article a man reported the two people to the police that were drinking in a Enoc fuel station. This is interesting because I have talked to several people that say those that are not fasting should not go out of their way to hide eatting or drinking.
