Millennium Upgrade

I started our Millennium upgrade yesterday, which is a pretty big upgrade and the first one I have done. The upgrade consists of two phases, the first phase is the preparation phase which is what we started yesterday. I started running it a 3 p.m. and immediately ran into a problem, our system would not read that we had done a full back up in the last 24 hours. This was just a glitch, however, and an email to III fixed the problem. So from 3 until 6:30 I watched little dots moving across the screen until the system had fully backed up our software and had begun downloading the new software. After it had started downloading I decided to go home for dinner which took about an hour. When I came back it still had not finished downloading (curse Etisilat and its slow speeds) so I sat and waited another 40 minutes until it finished. After that the system began installing the software which is where it sat. The friggin upgrade froze at the installation part how annoying is that. However, at 9:45 I found out that it had in fact finished as III sent me a message saying that they had completed the upgrade for us. In all it took 7 hours to complete, hopefully the conversion phase doesnt take more then 2 hours and an extra hope that it doesn't crash the entire system. That would not be fun.
