Can't beat Lewiston Maine for rediculous library stuff. This has been going on for awhile now and I'm glad to see the Lewiston courts are actually making this woman return the books.

In the end the judge decided that a fine ($100) was enough so as not to create more of a circus with the wasted time that has gone on hearing this case.The Rev. Doug Taylor of the book burning-er rather cutting up- of the Harry Potter books stepped up to pay her fine. In the meantime the publicity meant that the Lewiston Library has received more than a dozen copies as gifts of the book in question.
